Single-Cylinder Motorcycles – Tunisia Dakar Style
6 Days on Motorcycles – Training + Tour Discover the Grand Erg Oriental and its vast dunes, staying in 5-star luxury tented camps. An experience designed for those who want to learn how to navigate the desert in complete safety while enjoying a comprehensive and progressive program. Your guide will be Coach Oscar Polli—2008 World Rally Champion. Six nights in the Tunisian desert, including three in bivouacs and tented camps, to experience the authentic atmosphere of the Sahara. During the course, you’ll learn sand-riding techniques, GPS use, and CAP navigation. Difficulty: difficult—challenging trails and dunes. Motorcycles: lightweight single-cylinder bikes with a range of at least 140 km.
PRICES INCLUDE
6 days on a motorbike. Nights in half board (Hotel Maison Douz, double room). 3 nights in a bivouac or tented camp in a double room.

NOT INCLUDED: Gasoline, snacks, ship/plane ticket, single room supplement. Recovery of broken-down vehicles (paid service). Transfers to/from the airport: the Tunis Airport ⇆ Douz transfer is organized by the Sahara Douz agency, authorized for tourist transport and covered by insurance.
Motorcycles allowed and rental
Motorcycles: Lightweight single-cylinder bikes with at least 140 km of range. Rental options: Customized desert bikes (KTM/Husqvarna 350, oversized fuel tank, mousse, special suspension). GPS rental with support.
Participation formula
- With your own motorcycle (meeting in Douz): Overnight stay from Monday to Saturday night. Fly & Drive – Round-trip motorcycle transport Milan–Douz: Overnight stay from Sunday to Saturday night. Reason for transfer: “Tunisia internship + Name + FMI member number”.
Requirements
To participate, you need FMI membership and a medical certificate of good health. If you don’t have them (or your membership has expired), you can obtain/renew them directly through M.C. Freeracing.
Logistics organization

- Milan → Tunis: Recommended arrival by 1:00 PM
- Tunis → Milan: Recommended departure between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Sunday</h6 >Arrival by plane in Tunis and transfer to Douz
Monday</h6 >Arrival by ship and start of the course: briefing and short warm-up
Tuesday</h6 >Douz → Sbath, luxury camping south of Smela (200 km)
Wednesday </h6 >Sbath → Tembain, luxury camping (120 km, 70% dunes)
Thursday</h6 >Tembain → Jebil Park (120/150 km, challenging stage)
Friday</h6 >Jebil Park → Elfauar → Douz Maison (200 km, the famous white dunes)
Saturday</h6 >”Grande Dune” navigation stage in controlled autonomy
Sunday </h6 >Return to Tunis by ship/flight. The program is subject to change based on weather and organizational needs.
